Equal Employment Opportunity
It is the policy of RTI to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and employment applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, creed, or citizenship status, disability, veteran status, or any other classification protected by applicable discrimination laws or RTI policy. All other personnel actions, including but not limited to recruiting, selection, hiring, transfers, promotions, compensation, benefits, education, training, recreation and social programs, will be administered with the objectives of this policy of equal opportunity. Exceptions to administration of these objectives may vary based on applicable law. Any individual found to have violated this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. This policy applies to all RTI employees, including regular, temporary and term employees. Equipment, Facilities and Vehicles All RTI facilities, equipment and vehicles are tools provided to employees for project objectives, and they are not the personal property of the employee. In addition, RTI facilities, equipment and vehicles may not be used by an employee for personal or outside business. The unauthorized use by an employee of RTI facilities, equipment or vehicles may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. In addition, any resulting damage to RTI facilities, equipment or vehicles will be the responsibility of the employee. In order for an employee to take RTI equipment or vehicles off of RTI premises, the employee must obtain the prior written approval of his/her supervisor. When the equipment or vehicle is returned, the supervisor should check to see that all components of the equipment or vehicle have been returned, and that the same are in good working order. Upon an employee’s termination of employment from RTI, he/she is required to immediately return any equipment or vehicle that has been issued to him/her during the course of employment. It is the policy of RTI that vehicles owned or leased for various business purposes be operated and maintained in a safe and secure manner. Only RTI employees, clients or business visitors should ride in RTI vehicles, and RTI vehicles are for the exclusive use of employees in the execution of their duties. Employees driving RTI vehicles are expected to exercise proper care and handling of the vehicle assigned to them and to use them only for business purposes. As Uzbekistan LN Employee Handbook February 2020 15 drivers of RTI vehicles, employees should display courtesy and defensive driving tactics at all times. All drivers: • Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state(s) or country(ies) in which the vehicle is operated. • Must adhere to all applicable motor vehicle laws in the state(s) or country(ies) in which the vehicle is operated. • Are responsible for all tickets or other fines incurred for failure to obey applicable vehicle laws. • Operators of “off-road” vehicles (e.g., forklifts, tractors, heavy equipment, boats) are expected to adhere to all applicable laws or regulations pertaining to the safe operation of the vehicle. All RTI vehicles are subject to inspection at all times. If an employee loses the privilege to drive, the employee must notify his/her supervisor at the time the employee loses driving privileges. An employee’s failure to notify his or her supervisor of such loss can result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Download 243.52 Kb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
