Experimental part. Described in the article about medicinal plants Momordica charantia
“Momordica charantia L” has macro and microelements with fluctuations in its composition, since
it is grown in different conditions, but of course it is useful for plants for use in medical practice
and in folk medicine at the same time. Starting with the seed material and ending with its formation
as a finished raw material, plants are grown at home, in the conditions where it grows and, of
course, in our study in the Bukhara region of the Republic of Uzbekistan until the formation and
maturation of the plant [56]. Fruits are rich in vitamins C, A, E, B, PP, F, contain trace elements
and substances important for the human body (dietary fiber, lutein, beta carotene, etc.). The seed
shell contains fatty oil rich in carotene. The roots contain triterpene saponins used in the treatment

of rheumatism. The seeds contain the bitter glycoside momordicin and substances that lower blood
sugar levels; lycopene is a good antioxidant, serves as a good prevention of cardiovascular diseases
[57]. The studies quantified the content of micro- and macroelements by the ISP MS method in
the fruits of Indian pomegranate [58]. To study the chemical composition of momordica seeds
0.0500-0.5000 g, the exact weight of the test substance is weighed on analytical scales and
transferred to Teflon autoclaves [59]. Then the appropriate amount of purified concentrated
mineral acids (nitric acid (x/ h) and hydrogen peroxide (x/ h)) is poured into the autoclaves [58].
Autoclaves are closed and placed on a Berghof microwave decomposition device with MWS-3+
software of a similar type of microwave decomposition device. The decomposition program is
determined based on the type of the substance under study, indicating the degree of decomposition
and the number of autoclaves (up to 12 pcs.) [59]. After decomposition, the contents in autoclaves
are quantitatively transferred to 50 ml or 100 ml volumetric flasks and the volume is brought to
the label with 0.5% nitric acid [60]. Determination of the test substance should be carried out on
an ISP-MS device or a similar device of emission spectrometer optics with inductively coupled
argon plasma [61]. In the method of determination, indicating the optimal wavelength of the
determined micro or macro elements, at which they have the maximum emission. In the
construction of the sequence of analyses, the amount in mg and the degree of its dilution in ml
were indicated. After receiving the data, the true quantitative content of the substance in the test
sample is automatically calculated and entered in the form of mg/kg or mcg/g with error limits-
RSD in %. The results of the analysis by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)
are shown in Table 10 [62].

The results of the study, the studied composition, cultured medicinal plant raw materials
Momordica charantia L has bactericidal, antihypertensive, antibacterial, antiviral, antitumor,
immunomodulatory, antioxidant, hypoglycemic activity, rich in vitamins and a number of useful
properties [63]. Quantitative determination of micro and macroelements by inductively coupled
plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) in Indian pomegranate fruits has been studied [64].
According to the methods, the highest quantitative content of micro and macroelements in the
fruits of the Indian pomegranate was revealed [65].
Certain work, that is, the cultural cultivation of medicinal plants in the treatment of certain
diseases complies with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated
20.05.2022, No. PP-251 “ABOUT MEASURES FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF CULTURAL
CULTIVATION, PROCESSING AND WIDESPREAD USE OF MEDICINAL PLANTS IN
THE TREATMENT OF” and applicants like us are tasked with deepening such extensive work
throughout the republic of our country.
